Being there, an exhibit by Judith Zeichner at the Stone Ridge Library

“Landscapes, interiors, figures in action and recumbent, faces, food, life, I paint life,” said Kerhonkson artist Judith Zeichner. “My paintings appear in the movie “Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding,” and in Hawaii, and Cornwall, England. One must survive, so I do sell them, but I never think of selling when I’m painting. One must paint for oneself, mustn’t one? So I’ve worked as a teacher, a waitress, a salesperson. It’s all good.” Come see Zeichner’s artwork, on exhibit through Oct. 26, at the Stone Ridge Library, 3700 Main St., Stone Ridge. For more information, visit stoneridgelibrary.org 845-687-2044.
