Local News from Marbletown, Rochester, & Rosendale
The Rosendale Recreation Commission will once again offer its Basic Watercolor Classes with Artist Pablo Shine, an eight-session series, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 17-Nov. 12 (no class on Oct. 8), at the Rosendale Recreation Center, 1055 Route 32, Rosendale. Shine has been an art teacher for over 37 years, as he considers this role the most important way to give back to the community. Cost of each art class is $20/$15 Rosendale residents, with an additional one-time materials fee of $10. Class size is limited, and anticipated to fill quickly, so pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Visit or call the Recreation Office at 845-658-8198 for registration and information.
