Mid-Hudson Misfits first bout to benefit the Ulster Immigrant Defense Network

Join the Mid-Hudson Misfits Roller Derby Team for a fast-paced, action-packed bout against Parlor City Roller Derby, Saturday, July 12, at Skate Time, 5164 Route 209, Accord. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the first whistle kicks things off at 6 p.m. Two gender inclusive adult teams will go head-to-head in a WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association) rule set scrimmage. The Skate Time concession stand will be open with food, drinks, and adult beverages. Seating is limited, so bring a folding chair for comfy cheering! Tickets can be purchased at the door. This first home bout of the season will benefit the Ulster Immigrant Defense Network (UIDN), a nonprofit organization that provides a network of safety and support for immigrants in Ulster County, regardless of immigration status. Since 2017, UIDN has offered essential services including food and housing assistance, transportation to court and ICE check-ins, legal referrals, and workforce development programs.
